How would I best mount an extra hard drive in a computer that has all expansion bays full?
If I decided to put in an extra DVD player or Blue Ray, I would be out of expansion bays for an extra HD. But there is plenty of room on the floor of the case, with no obstructions. What sort of hardware would be best?
I will install the HD first in the last expansion bay. I am thinking ahead to future changes. Thanks.
Use an external. (If you have a Network, a NAS device is a nice addition).
or
remove one of the optical drives and use a bracket adapter 3.5"-> 5.25" and install it in the optical drive bay.
or
If you have a floppy bay use that
If you have BDVD you should be able to use it to burn/play cd/dvd with that device so makes the other optical drive redundant meaning the drive bay can be used for an HD (no real need for 2x optical drives unless you're doing mass disk duplication)
