Sibling refers to either a brother or sister who shares at least ONE biological parent with you. Even if the brother or sister is adopted, use can still call them sibling.
Brother: generally refers to a male who is related to you through at least one parent ( again if they are adopted the same rule applies but it's both parents).
Sister: same as brother but female version
Brethren: This term is usually used when dealing with certain cultures or religions. Certain churches will refer to the women of the congregation as Sister and men as Brother or Brethren ( sometimes they will simpy refer to the entire congregation as Brethren). The rules for brother/sister apply here just not in a 'biological' way.
