Cold cathodes cause PC Freeze/BSOD?
I've just installed cold cathodes in my pc (1x blue, 1xUV) running from the 12V line with a transformer. They have a switch which I have attached to the case.
When I turn them on, within 5 seconds my pc is reduced to juddery mouse movements and within 30 seconds a BSOD.
I have a stock Novatech 350w PSU with 18A on each of the 2 12v lines.
My PC has 2x320GB HDD, 2xDVD/RW, Front panel LCD, Front Panel Mem card reader, FDD, nVidia 8600GT, Creative X-Fi, 2 Nexus case fans and a PCI G/bit LAN card. 2GB RAM (2xDDR2 533) and AMD Athlon 64 x2 4400+.
Would it be the PSU causing this problem, If not, any suggestions?
I don't want to splash out £50 on a new PSU if I don't have to (i'm a student!)

I would like to use the cathodes if possible as my PC has a windowed side and is in a prominent location, usually used in the dark.
Also, they are brand new and work correctly.
Your power supply is too small.
