I have a avr microcontroller trainer board,It works fine.?

However during power failure , Its LCD module turns off. and program execution goes corrupt... Controller gets hang.. My other devices (computer , fans , lights ,TV ) all works fine. Is there any solution...?
However during power failure on UPS , its LCD Module turns off and controller hangs. My Other devices runs fine on UPS. I am using ordinary 2A bridge rectifier and 7805 with filter capacitors of 1000 uf and 0.1 uf. Is any special rectifier is used in devices...? what can be the solution...

Get a small UPS and use that.
