I got a gift card for claires and and really want to get them done before school starts.(in 4 days!!!!)
HELP!!!!!
Hey :]
It's normal to be scared - everyone is. I got mine done when I was 14 monthes old, so I obviously don't remember getting it done. But everyone tells me that I didn't even realize what happened, and I was always dramatic when I was little.
So, when you're there have someone distract you. Like your mom or a close friend, and make sure you hold someone's hand. When they're doing it then count to ten and back down, or sing the ABC's in your head. Just think how happy you'll be when it's done, and just in time for school.
Also, before you go just hold an icecube or a small ice pack to your ear, so you don't feel the needle. Try not to think about the needle, either, and you'll be just fine. If you don't think about it, chances are you won't feel a thing - if you go there convinced it's going to be horrible then it probably will. Keep a good outlook.
It'll all be okay, I promise. Just go get it done and get it over with. Good Luck!

The Braun Lectron System: Retro “Circuit Dominoes” (MAKE Magazine)
Here is a transcribed article from the September 1967 issue of Electronics
Illustrated describing what is, in fact, the BRAUN Lectron educational toy
designed by Dieter Rams and Jurgen Greubel. Interestingly, the toy's U.S.
marketing, at the time, seems to have been pretty thoroughly scrubbed of
conspicuously German names. The article mentions that the system was "imported
from Germany," but neither Braun's, Rams's, nor Greubel's name is given, and
U.S. distributor Raytheon gets most of the credit.
