How do I connect Mission 751 speakers to my amp?

It's a set of bookshelf speakers and each one has 4 screw connectors. One pair says LF, the other HF, but there is a solid copper piece connecting the HF positive terminals together, and the same with the LF terminals. My question really is... does it matter (as HF is directly connected to LF anyway)? Thanks!

Using HF (high frequency) and LF (low frequency) separately will only matter if you are an audiophile (which I guess you're not as you're asking the question lol).

So you can leave the shorting/bridge plates as they are and just plug your cables into either of the inputs.

If you want to play about take the shorting plates off and wire up just the HF or LF connectors. On the HF pair you'll hear high frequencies (tambourines, cymbals whatever) and on the LF you'll get boomy bass noises.

Would You Dangle Your iPhone From This Carabiner? [Photography] (Gizmodo)

Instead of just clipping into the iPhone 4 and 4S' dock connector--which would
have eventually guaranteed a shattered phone--this carabiner accessory comes
with longer replacement screws that are promised to securely attach it to the
bottom. More ยป
