I have two dell 8200 series towers. Both have 2 x 256mb RAM. When I put all four into one machine, I does not recognize 1MB RAM, it still shows 512mb RAM.
Please advise!

According to Dell, it will recognize up to 2 GBs with Microsoft Windows 2000 and XP but only 512 MBs with Windows Millennium Edition (Me) and 98.
